Registration fee (until Monday 28 September): £20 for the 2k, £25 for the 5k. 

End of summer sale: All kids go free if you sign up between Monday 24 August and Sunday 6 September (usually £10 for children over 5). 

Fundraising pledge: We encourage all participants to raise over £100.

From walking and wheeling to running and scooting, take on 2k or 5k your way. Whether you're sprinting like a superhero, whizzing on wheels, or simply enjoying a family stroll, every step will help beat childhood cancer.

What's in store?

Set among the autumn leaves of London's Hyde Park, our family festival and charity fun run is the perfect adventure for all ages and abilities. Get ready for a day of music and games, live entertainment, face painting, and lots more.

Confirm your place today to join the fun – you'll need to register ahead of the event to be a fabulous fun-raiser! We'll send you a race pack for your charity challenge (including your race day t-shirt) in the post. Plus, when you cross the finish line, you'll celebrate with a medal. If you raise over £100, you'll also receive a virtual goody bag packed with discounts and giveaways from our partners, sponsors and more!

Sign up nice and early so you secure your spot and have plenty of time to fundraise. Please note there will not be any on-the-day registrations this year.

Fundraising made easy

We ask that everyone taking part in RBC Race for the Kids raises as much as they can to help us build a new Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). When you sign up to this charity fundraising event, a fundraising page will automatically be set up for you. Donate to a great cause

could go towards the cost of a specialist children's bed on one of our new cancer wards.

could help purchase soft play mats to make spaces safe and more comfortable for children to play on and for therapy sessions.

could help fund comfortable (but hospital-safe) bean bags to relax and play in sensory spaces or play areas.

How your fundraising will help beat childhood cancer

Cancer doesn’t care about childhood. It doesn’t care what seriously ill kids miss out on, like trips to the seaside or playing in the park with their friends.

But we do.

Despite great progress in treatments and cures, cancer is still the biggest killer of children aged one to 14 in the UK and around 1,900 children are diagnosed every year.*

At GOSH Charity, we know that when cancer hits, childhood suffers. That's why we're building the new, world-leading Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH.

With cutting-edge facilities and an environment where pioneering research can thrive, this centre will be a beacon of hope for families facing the unimaginable. And because cancer shouldn’t get to steal anyone’s childhood, it will be more than a hospital building. It will be a school, a playground, a garden and a home-from-home.
