I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Every penny counts

On the 11th November Dylan and I will be doing a 5k run for GOSH Charity, as you will know I am absolutely not built for running!

We have never needed Great Ormond Street Hospital ourselves but have seen how amazing it is, treating rare complex life-limiting conditions, investing in ground breaking research to find new treatments and cures and making those hospital stays a little kinder with support for families.

We are running to help support this amazing charity, you never know when you might need it.

By the end I’ll probably be a sweaty, exhausted mess and Dylan will still be fully of beans but every puff, pant and step will be worth it to help GOSH keep changing children’s lives. If you can please donate and make our struggle around the course really count.

RBC Race for the Kids 2025

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
