We're taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Not the best pace but will improve it in our next race!

We did it!

We have completed  Siobhan’s first race! It was not sunny but was perfect for a run! There was a rugby match on the ground so we also got cheering!

Running venue

This year we cannot go to the amazing Hyde Park to run with other fundraisers. However, we have a close-to-home venue that has a plenty of running space. This is the sports ground at Langley Park School for Boys in Beckenham. We are so lucky and am sure that we only need to complete 2K within 3-4 laps :)

Weekend Prep

Siobhan was wearing the Chinese traditional costume for her preparation of the run on Saturday 11th! She fell over a couple of times but soon stood up and continued. Well done my girl!👧🏻 

We are ready to race for the kids!

Received our T-shirts this week - Siobhan is excited to put it on and she cannot wait to show everyone her ability of completing 2K running without (hopefully) big folks' help.

We’re joining the race to help beat childhood cancer by taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
