I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
GOSH helped me walk again!
In January 2025, over the course of a week, my feet became so painful I stopped walking. Even the lightest touch was unbearable. I spent 5 weeks in the Chelsea and Westminster hospital while they investigated what was wrong and helped to make my feet less sensitive to touch. I finally left hospital walking on crutches.
The amazing Pain Management and Physio teams at GOSH really understood what I was going through and after an rehabilitation physio programme I reached my goal to be able to walk on my own again unaided.
I would like to fundraise for GOSH to thank them for everything they have done for me. Also, being able to run/walk this race will be such a huge achievement and an wonderful milestone for the journey I have been on.

RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
