I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

I’m joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

This cause is especially close to my heart, as I lost my beloved grandma to cancer earlier this year. Supporting this run feels like a way to honour her memory while helping children who are bravely fighting their own battles.

This weekend, I’ve decided to spend some time away — but I’ll also be taking part in the GOSH “Run for Kids”, walking along the Bournemouth beach to help beat childhood cancer.

I’m hoping to raise a small amount — just £50 — but I won't be upset if it will be more too, every pound or two you can donate will mean so much.

With so much pain and conflict in the world, investing in our children and their health gives us hope for a brighter future. Hopefully, they can change the future — the one we haven’t yet been able to change. Together, we can help raise a generation that will make this world a better place. 💛
