I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s virtual fun run challenge, RBC Race for the Kids: Home Heroes, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids: Home Heroes

Salutations, everyone. My name is Bobby, Bobby Gotelee to be exact. And welcome to my Fundraising Page: RBC Race For The Kids: Home Heroes.
As an avid 'Great Ormond Street Hospital Fundraiser', coming up to raising £16,000 so far within my workplace (for over 11 years, within my current job), I am always looking for new ways to raise money and awareness for this amazing charity.
Now, normally, I would come up to do this event in Hyde Park. However, due to specific circumstances, beyond my control/ability, I have decided to take part in RBC's Home Heroes Challenge, in lieu of GOSH.
So what's going to be the plan? 5k, everyday at least, for the duration of the week (5th - 12th October), in order to , once again, raise funds and awareness. It should be said that I'm no stranger to walking for GOSH. However, this one, I'm going to take it a little steadier and more casually, than I would do normally.
If you would like to donate, feel free to click the link on the page (whether it's on a mobile phone or an computer webpage), and follow the instructions. Moreover, if you'd like to spread the news, feel free to share the page with family and friends. Otherwise, thank you very much for your time.

Welcome Back, Bobby, With A Twist!

Hello, everyone. Bobby here. Welcome aboard. So, I have decided to take part in RBC's Race For The Kids: Home Heroes, in lieu of raising funds and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital and for the Children's Cancer Research Centre.

With specific mitigations, disallowing me to take part in the Race For The Kids, at Hyde Park, this year, Home Heroes is a perfect choice for me. It allows me to walk at my own pace, whilst keeping Great Ormond Street in the forefront of my mind.

So, everyday from Monday 5th to Sunday 12th October, I shall be walking 5km, in order to raise awareness for this beloved charity. Just a nice casual 5k, everyday, for the chosen week - no tricks, no traps, and a whole lot of enjoyment.

Feel free to have a look about at my page. And, if you'd like to donate to the cause and support my endeavour, feel free to follow the instructions on the page itself.

Thank you for your time. Otherwise, this is Bobby, over and out! I shall hope to see you, at the start line, on Monday 5th October!

I’m joining the race to help beat childhood cancer by taking part in RBC Race for the Kids: Home Heroes

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring us. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
