I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

🎗️ Back on the starting line – this time, not alone.

Three years ago, I ran a half marathon in the pouring rain to raise money for GOSH, a wonderful children’s hospital that truly deserves all the support it can get.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised nearly £500 💪

Next week, I’ll be back at Hyde Park, still wearing GOSH’s colours — but this time, it’s a 2 km charity run.

And what makes it really special is that I’ll be running it with Charlie, my 6-year-old ❤️

It’s his very first charity race — a chance for him to experience what it means to run for others, and to help children who don’t have the same luck he does.

It may only be 2 km, but it means a lot.

RBC Race for the Kids 2025

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
