I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Hi my name is Hannah, along with my sister Julia, we will be taking part in this year’s RBC Race for the Kids raising money for GOSH.
In 2017 at age of 7, I was diagnosed with a large tumour called a Teratoma on my ovary.
Great Ormond Street Hospital became a second home to me and my family during my recovery and for years to follow as the journey continued. The doctors and nurses at GOSH are real life super hero’s helping to save lives of children every day.
The oncology ward is home to many sick children, and with the need for a new children’s cancer center it is the perfect time for families like ours to give back to this remarkable institution and to help save lives of many more children.

RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
