Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
This cause is deeply connected to our family as Jack (10) has been a patient there twice as a baby and toddler undergoing 2 surgeries and even stayed on the incredible Premier Inn ward, and we’ve seen first-hand the amazing work they do for children and families in the toughest of times.
I also work closely with GOSH through my role at Whitbread, where together with my amazing colleagues over the years have already raised over £27 million. My niece Maddi and my two older sons have also worked for Whitbread, so supporting GOSH has truly become a family mission.
Now, myself and more than 10 amazing friends and family members will be taking on the Race for Kids 5K at Hyde Park. We’ll be running, walking, wheeling and most importantly — fundraising — to help make sure GOSH can continue their life-changing work for children and families who need it most.

I’m joining the race to help beat childhood cancer
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children’s lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden and so much more.
