Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Also this year, I’m running the RBC Race for the Kids alongside my daughter — a moment that fills me with hope, energy, and purpose. For us, this race is so much more than just a run. It’s a way to stand together in support of children and families facing health challenges, to show that sport is a powerful force for good.
Why do we run? Because every stride can make a difference. Every step is a shout out to those who need extra care and love — the fragile ones who inspire us with their courage every day. We believe that sport can shine a light where it’s needed most, offering strength and practical action that goes beyond words.
By joining this race and raising funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, we help fuel groundbreaking treatments, essential support services, and a community of hope that lifts kids and their families through tough times.
If you believe in the power of compassion, energy, and real change, please consider supporting us by donating. Together, through every heartbeat and every mile, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children who need it most.
Join us. Run with us. Give with us. Let’s turn passion into hope.
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
