My reason to run!
I am running this race because it’s a fun way to raise money for GOSH as I believe it is a great charity that does amazing work. Without GOSH many children in need would not be able to receive the specialist life saving care they deserve. Not only do GOSH help the children in need they also provide support for their family and loved ones. Having our friend who has been taken care of and supported on their journey by GOSH makes it even more special, and you never know if someone you love could end up in need x
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
