This year, our six boys, aged 3–10, are taking part in the Race for Kids for their 6 year old cousin, and all the children at Great Ormand Street hospital who are receiving treatment.
Childhood cancer affects thousands of children and families across the UK. For us, it’s personal, and we want to do anything we can to help.
This is something that means a huge amount to our family. Our Nephew/cousin was diagnosed in May with childhood leukaemia and continues to be treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital. We’ve seen first-hand the incredible care, strength and dedication of the GOSH team, and the support they have given him and his family throughout his treatment.
We wanted to do something to say thank you — and to support the amazing work they do for so many other children and families. The money raised will help build GOSH’s new Children’s Cancer Centre, supporting pioneering research and helping provide the very best care for children with cancer. ❤️
So the boys are getting their trainers on and taking on the race together — and, knowing the bravery and strength of their cousin, he’ll beat them all to the finish line! 🏃♂️💙
