I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Running for GOSH kids

This year, I’ve decided to take on a 7k running challenge to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, supporting children battling cancer.

Cancer is a word no child should ever have to hear.

There is hope to find a new treatment.

I’m running to stand in solidarity with these young fighters, and to support the groundbreaking research that gives them a fighting chance. 🧡

If you can, please support me by donating to my fundraising page. Every pound you give brings us closer to better treatments, more smiles, and brighter tomorrows.

Thank you!

RBC Race for the Kids 2025

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.

You are doing something truly amazing! Running 7 kilometers is no small feat—and you’re doing it not just for yourself, but to help other children by supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital. That’s the heart of a real hero. Every step you take is filled with courage, kindness, and strength. You're not just running a race—you’re helping build a place where children with cancer can get the care they need and the hope they deserve. Remember this: your feet may get tired, but your heart will only grow stronger. And no matter how fast you go, you’re already a champion—for the kids you’re helping and for everyone who looks up to you. “You don’t need wings to fly—just a good pair of trainers and a big heart!” 🏃‍♀️💫 You’ve got this, Emily. Run proud, run strong, and know that you’re making a difference. 💖 With admiration, Friends who believes in you, Yuvi, Veer, Amar and Jaz x
