RBC Race for the Kids 2025
Two of Freddie’s closest friends are Tabby (4) and Isabelle (7). Together, they’re inseparable — a little trio full of giggles and mischief. Freddie proudly calls them “my girls” and absolutely adores them.
But the early years weren’t easy for Tabs. Born with a cleft palate, she spent much of lockdown undergoing multiple complex surgeries at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), many of them to help her eat and breathe. It was a frightening and uncertain time. Through it all, Tabs showed extraordinary courage, and she continues to shine as her journey goes on. We are so proud of funny and bubbly little Tabs, along with her wonderful big sister Isabelle, and their incredible parents (two of our best friends!) Tiz and Sam.
Freddie visited Tabs during one of her stays in a local hospital and hasn’t forgotten just how brave his little friend was. So when he spotted an advert for GOSH’s Race for Kids, he immediately asked if he could take part.
This October, Freddie will be running to raise money for GOSH’s new cancer centre — helping ensure that children facing life-threatening conditions continue to receive the specialist care they so urgently need. He’s set himself a goal of £100 — a big target for a little runner — and we would be so grateful for any support you can give. Every donation, no matter the size, will mean the world to Freddie and will help support this incredible cause.
