I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
This year, our little team (Mike, me, Matteo, and baby Mercile) is taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids. It’s not just about crossing the finish line, but about running with purpose, as a family.
We are running to support children living with cancer. No child should have to face such a difficult journey, but sadly we know too many do. As parents, our hearts go out to these brave kids and their families, and we want to do our part to bring them hope, support, and brighter days ahead.
Every step we take is for the children who can’t run freely right now. We run for the families who need strength, and for the future where more kids can look forward to long, healthy lives.
By running together, we want to show Matteo and Mercile that even the smallest steps can make a big difference when done with love and purpose.

RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
