I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Participating in the RBC Race for the Kids is deeply meaningful to me, both personally and as a member of the wider community. This event is not only an opportunity to challenge myself physically, but also a chance to support causes that make a real difference to children’s lives. By joining the race, I am helping to raise much-needed funds and awareness for children’s charities that provide vital services, programmes, and support for young people and their families.
I am inspired by the stories of families and children who have benefitted directly from the work supported by the RBC Race for the Kids. Knowing that the money raised goes towards healthcare, mental health resources, educational opportunities, and social support for children facing difficulties motivates me to get involved and do my part.
Beyond the fundraising aspect, I also value the sense of community and togetherness that the event fosters. It brings people from all walks of life together for a common purpose, reminding us of the positive impact we can have when we unite for a good cause. Whether running, walking, or simply cheering others on, every participant contributes to something bigger than themselves.
Ultimately, I am taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids because I believe in giving back, supporting children’s futures, and making a tangible, positive difference in our society. It’s a chance to combine personal challenge with collective good—something I am proud to be a part of.
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
