I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
We’ve just reached a huge milestone — six months post end of treatment! 🎉
My daughter Aashna, now 9, was diagnosed with leukaemia when she was just 6 years old. She bravely went through intensive chemotherapy and immunotherapy at GOSH, where we received incredible care and support every step of the way.
I’m running to give back and to support the development of the new GOSH Children’s Cancer Centre — a place that will bring world-class research, treatment, and hope to children and families facing cancer across the UK.
Every donation, big or small, helps make a difference. 💛
The one where we rang the Bell!
GOSH Safari ward where Aashna has visited at least 40+ times is almost like a sacred place to us. We were glad we go to ring the bell at Safari in the presense of our CNS nurses, the Play team, the nurses and staff at the ward and by sheer luck - our Consultant was able to visit too! Here's hoping every child that passes through Safari ward gets to ring the bell and live on to healthy, happy lives!
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.

Hey Alpana and Sumit, You guys as parents are truly a role model and I can’t even imagine what you guys must have gone through to pull this off as parents and of course the herculean effort from our strong Aashna. But this effort is just a testament to the resilience of you all as a family. Overall, super proud of you guys. Only good wishes, strength, and more power to each one of you. We'll catch up soon! Only good Vibes and Wishes, Melwin and Myra!
