I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why we have signed up?

Since Javi could walk he has wanted to run. At aged 15 months we ditched the pram and ran everywhere - to the local shops, to and through the park and he even got me running throughout my pregnancy with his younger brother. To the point where one friend commented "Why walk when you can run".

Now - we run, jog and walk our way to school nearly everyday! So - it's about time we put all this running to good use.

The things Great Ormond Street do for children is incredible. I have heard of the way they support families through the toughest of times. Please help us help other children the same age (younger or older than Javi) by sponsoring us!

We will do our best to run, jog, walk our way to the finish line (to get a medal).
