Our Group/Family
Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
It all started with a simple idea: to lace up our trainers and go for a run together. What began as just me and my two daughters quickly grew when one of their friends joined in too. Suddenly, we had ourselves a little team.
Now, we’ll be honest—we’re not exactly breaking speed records out there. In fact, that’s how our team name was born: Not-So-Fast & Furious. We may not be the quickest, but what we lack in speed we make up for in laughter and determination.
But this run isn’t just about us. We’re taking on this challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, a place that changes young lives every single day. Knowing that our miles can help support such an incredible cause gives every step an extra meaning.
So when you support Not-So-Fast & Furious, you’re not just cheering on four runners—you’re helping us make a difference for children and families who need it most. We might not cross the finish line first, but with your help, we’ll definitely cross it with the biggest smiles.
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
