Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Alexander’s Team was created by us as a family because we wanted to do something positive for children and families who are facing difficult and uncertain times. As a family, we know how precious our children are, and we feel very lucky to be able to take part in an event that can help other families when they need specialist care and support. We’ll be running together, raising money together and thinking of all the children and families that GOSH supports along the way.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
