Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
I’m taking part in the race with my children because I want them to grow up understanding the power of kindness, compassion, and community. Every child deserves the chance to be healthy, to laugh, to play, and to dream about their future, yet so many families face challenges they never expected. Great Ormond Street Hospital gives hope during some of the hardest moments imaginable, providing life-changing care and support to children and their loved ones. Walking together is our small way of saying thank you, standing alongside those families, and helping to make a difference. I hope this experience teaches my children that even the smallest steps, when taken together, can help change someone’s life.
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
