I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Remembering Bibi, forever 7 ❤

We are dedicating our 2k race to beautiful Bibi, who last year tragically lost her battle with a very aggressive brain cancer.

Bibi was a strong little girl! Laura (Bibi’s mum) and I were expecting our daughters, Rita and Bibi, at the same time, and though we never met Bibi in person, we followed her journey closely through social media. We witnessed the incredible love, strength, and determination of her family as they did everything possible to give her the very best care and opportunities for treatment around the world.

When the heartbreaking news came, after so much hope from her last check, it left us devastated. Bibi and her family embodied hope and courage, and their story continues to inspire us deeply.

GOSH played a vital role in supporting Bibi and her family with compassion and expertise in some parts of their journey. By running in her memory, we want to honour her beautiful spirit and help give other children facing similar battles a chance at brighter tomorrows.
