Why this is important to us!
Last year, our son Marcel fought a battle no child should ever have to face — cancer. ❤️
We are incredibly grateful and blessed to say that Marcel won his battle. Today, he is our little fighter, our inspiration, and a constant reminder of how precious life is.
This year, we are taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids because we want to give something back and help other children and families facing their own cancer journey.
For us, this isn’t just a race. It is deeply personal. We know the fear, uncertainty and emotional strength that families go through when their child is diagnosed with cancer. We also know how important it is to have support, hope and access to the care that children need.
We would be incredibly grateful if you could support us by making a donation. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference and help support children and families affected by childhood cancer.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
