Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Layla was just 16 months old when she diagnosed with leukaemia in 2022. She underwent 2+ years of gruelling treatment and ended up spending more than 100 nights away from home at hospital.
Layla was treated at Great Ormand Street Hospital and every single member of staff was professional, engaging and above all- kind.
Layla will be scootering 2km in the GOSH RBC Race for the Kids, alongside her older brother Idris, and big cousin Aiden- both of whom spent time visiting her in hospital when she was most poorly.
Please donate what you can, to support such a great cause. We have seen first hand how the hospital environment can affect an unwell child's daily life, recovery and mood, and we are all motivated to give back to GOSH!
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
So proud of my team. Running with you in spirit. To the STRONGEST girl - team Layla, always ❤️
