I’m Running 5km for GOSH – Wish Me Luck!

Hi! My name’s Max and I’m 10 years old. On the 11th October, I’m doing something really big… I’m running 5km to raise money for GOSH – that’s Great Ormond Street Hospital, where they help loads of kids who are really sick.

Ive never run that far before but I wanted to do this run because some kids don’t get to play outside or go swimming or eat ice cream like I do. They’re stuck in hospital, and GOSH helps them feel better and smile again. I think that’s pretty awesome.

So I’m putting on my trainers, grabbing my water bottle, and going for it 💪. I’ve even got a playlist with my favourite songs (yes, “Eye of the Tiger” is on there – obviously).

If you want to help me help GOSH, you can sponsor me! Every pound goes to helping kids get better and have fun again. And if you see me running, cheer really loud – I run faster when people shout “GO MAX!”

RBC Race for the Kids 2025

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
