Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Leo and I are taking part in a charity run to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity.
This cause has suddenly become very close to our hearts. About 18 months ago someone close to us – our friend’s son, a boy who is about to turn 8 - was diagnosed with Leukaemia. He is currently undergoing cancer treatment at GOSH. Seeing a child and their family face such a difficult battle is heartbreaking, but the incredible care, strength, and support provided by the team at GOSH gives everyone so much hope.
No child should have to spend their 8th birthday fighting cancer, but the staff at GOSH work tirelessly to give these children the best possible chance at a full, healthy childhood.
Every single donation, no matter how small, will go directly to GOSH Charity to help build a better future for seriously ill children. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support!

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
