I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
We are taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids because I want to do something positive, active and memorable with our two young boys, Aiden and Arran. We’ve always admired the incredible work done by Great Ormond Street Hospital, and this race is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our support together.
For us, it’s about more than running, it’s about setting an example. I want to inspire Aiden and Arran to grow into compassionate, motivated young people who understand the importance of giving back. Taking part in a charity event like this helps them see that they can be part of something bigger, and that their actions, even at a young age, can help make a difference.
RBC’s values of integrity, service, and helping communities thrive align with the values I hope to pass on to my boys. Through this race, I hope to nurture in them a strong sense of empathy, global citizenship, and the confidence to take action for causes they care about.
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
