RBC Race for the Kids 2025
Great Ormond Street Hospital has always been a big part of my families life. My little sister, Angela, was born with microtia and so GOSH took her under their wing since she was a baby. Being in and out of the hospital over the years for countless appointments, check-ins and surgeries, I have seen first hand the impact GOSH has made not only on my sister, but many many other children. Angela herself has become so invested GOSH's mission that she’s now the Young People’s Governor, giving back to the hospital that gave her so much - something we are incredibly proud of!
I’m taking part in this run because I know that GOSH changes lives. If I can help other children and families feel as supported as my sister has, every step is worth it.
GOSH also cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
