I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

Helping others, especially those who need it most, has always been very close to my heart. It’s something my parents taught me from a young age, and it’s a value I’m proud to pass on to my children.
My first 5K was with my first son when he was just a year and a half old, and since then, I’ve never stopped taking part.
Every year, I come back with the same purpose: to do my little bit to help children who deserve the chance to simply be children to be happy, to play in the park, to laugh and make memories, rather than having to spend their childhood in a hospital.
So here we go again, another year, another 5K, and another little grain of sand towards making a difference. ❤️

RBC Race for the Kids 2026

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
