I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

💖 We’re Running for the Kids – Together as a Family!
This year, my children and I are taking part in Race for the Kids, and we’re doing it with purpose, heart, and (hopefully) a bit of stamina!
We might not be seasoned runners—but we are full of determination and love. Every step we take is for children and young people who are facing some of life’s toughest challenges, and we’re proud to be running side by side to support them.
Race for the Kids helps fund vital services, treatments, and emotional support for children in need—whether they’re living with serious illness, mental health struggles, or life circumstances that no child should face alone.
We’re asking friends, family, and kind strangers to support our run—every donation, big or small, helps bring hope, care, and brighter futures to kids who need it most.
Please sponsor our family run if you can. And if you can’t donate right now, just cheering us on means the world to us!
Let’s turn every step into something meaningful.
With gratitude,
Allan, Shaula and the boys

RBC Race for the Kids 2025

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
