Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Our Two little girls once walked through the doors of Great Ormond Street Hospital, each facing their own frightening journey. What they found there wasn’t just medical care — it was safety, kindness, and people who refused to give up on them.
GOSH held our hands through the darkest moments. They cared for both my girls with a level of compassion that is impossible to put into words. They made them feel brave when everything felt overwhelming, and they made us feel less alone when our world had been turned upside down.
This fundraiser is our way of giving something back. Every pound you donate helps another child receive the same extraordinary care, comfort, and hope that my girls did.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
