Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Recently, we visited Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for a routine check-up. Walking through those doors reminded us once again just how incredibly fortunate we are to have healthy children who don't face severe, ongoing health challenges.
Being there and seeing children facing significant physical and cognitive conditions hits you hard. Yet, what strikes you even more is their extraordinary resilience, how they find the strength to embrace every single day despite the immense hurdles in front of them. It is both humbling and deeply moving.
We realized we couldn't just walk away and do nothing. Supporting these children and their families is vital, and taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids feels like a wonderful, uplifting way to contribute. GOSH does remarkable, life-changing work to ensure these brave young patients get the care, comfort, and chance at a better life they so truly deserve.
We are running to support their mission, and we would be so grateful for any contribution to help us make a difference!
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
