I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

For six years, Norbury Hill Cubs has been proud to take part in the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity's Race for Kids lacing up our trainers, gathering our families, and making our way to Hyde Park to run for children who need it far more than we do.
It's become one of the most cherished events in our NHC calendar. Staff, parents, and children come together not just as a team but as a community united by a shared belief that the world is a better place when we look out for one another. Great Ormond Street Hospital holds a very special place in many hearts, and being able to raise money for its pioneering work with seriously ill children feels like one of the most meaningful things we can do together.
Six years of running, cheering, and showing up for children we may never meet that's not something we take lightly, and it's not something we're ready to leave behind.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
