Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
Since 2011, my family and I have proudly taken part each year in memory of our beautiful baby Rian, who was cared for at the hospital.
In just 13 short months, Rian endured more tests, treatments and needles than many of us will face in a lifetime. Through it all, he showed incredible strength, courage and bravery, and he continues to inspire us every single day.
Taking part and raising funds each year is our way of giving back, honouring Rian's memory, and helping ensure other children and families receive the same amazing care and support when they need it most.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference and means so much to our family. ❤️
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
