Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
This is our third year to run the Family run for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We started running with our 4 year old friend who received life saving care at GOSH, and since then we’ve had a few more friends and neighbours who have received treatment and operations.
We love having these great kids in our lives!
This year Chloe will also be running the London Parks Half Marathon for GOSH the next day, so between our family that’s almost a marathon in one weekend!
Our children will also be running a bake sale on Sat 3 Oct, so if you are local to us, please come along and buy a tasty treat!
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
