I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Running 5k for GOSH to Help Beat Childhood Cancer 🏃‍♀️✨

This October, the boys and I are taking on the RBC Race for the Kids in Hyde Park!

We’ve signed up to walk, scoot and jog the 5k course to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. GOSH is currently building a world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre to transform care, pioneer groundbreaking research, and give seriously ill children the best possible chance and childhood.

Cancer is still the biggest killer of children aged 1 to 14 in the UK, but every step we take helps bring us closer to a cure. If you’re able to support our family challenge with a donation - no matter how small - it would mean the absolute world to us and make a huge difference to the children and families relying on GOSH. RBC Race for the Kids 2026

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
