I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

💙 Why I’m running for GOSH 💙
On 10th October, my sister (Alisha) and I (Ella-Rose)— The Redgie Girls — are taking on the GOSH Race for Kids 5K 🏃‍♀️
Yet for me, this is so much more than a 5K.
GOSH has been part of my story since I was a little girl. The photos in my fundraising journey show a childhood that looked very different from most — but they also show the incredible care, support and people who helped me get to where I am today.
GOSH gave me the chance to grow up, to dream, to achieve and to reach my full potential. It helped shape me into the person I am today, and I will forever be grateful for that. 💙
I’ve actually done this race twice before — once when I was 5 years old on a scooter , and again when I was 10. Now, years later, I’m back as an adult, running alongside my sister.
The little girl who once needed GOSH is now running 5K to give something back. 🥹💙
There are children at GOSH right now who deserve that same chance: the chance to grow up, make memories, chase their dreams and discover who they can become.
So please, help The Redgie Girls give back to the place that gave us both so much. Every donation, no matter how small, can help GOSH continue changing children's lives.
For the little girl I was.
For the person I’ve become.
And for every child still waiting for their chance. 💙
🙏 Please donate, share our fundraiser or tag someone who might be able to help.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
