Hi, I’m Ella, Theo’s mum and Robbie’s aunt.
My sister, Isadora, and I have been thinking about doing this run/walk with our children for a while. We’ve heard so many wonderful things about Great Ormond Street Hospital, and as parents, we know just how precious our children are.
This year, our parents happen to be visiting, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to do this together as a family and create some memories.
My mum has also recently had knee surgery and has recovered well. Completing 5km will be a real challenge for her, but I’m sure having her grandchildren by her side will give her plenty of motivation!
I’m so proud of Theo and Robbie for agreeing to take part, too.
Seeing all the support we’ve received so far has made us even more excited about tomorrow. I’m genuinely touched and so grateful for everyone’s kindness and encouragement.
We’ll give it our very best tomorrow, and whatever happens, I know this will be a special experience for all of us. Thank you so much for your support! 🥰
Cousins Theo and Robbie are running / jogging / walking 5km on Saturday 10 October at Hyde Park to help raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital to build a new world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre.
Theo and Robbie will be joined by their visiting grandparents from Indonesia and would love your support to raise funds for this incredible cause so that children with cancer and their families can get the care and support they need.
