Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
I’m taking my kids to the RBC Race for the Kids in support of Great Ormond Street because I want them to grow up knowing the value of kindness, compassion, and helping others. Their grandmother on their dad’s side, who we sadly lost to cancer, worked as a nurse for over 30 years. She dedicated her life to caring for others and always made sure to lend a hand to those in need. By doing this race together, we’re honoring her memory and teaching our children to carry forward her legacy to be kind, and to give what they can to those who need it most.
RBC Race for the Kids 2025
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
