Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
My son Conor was a patient at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital up until the age of 16 before passing away at the age of 18 after suffering a cardiac arrest whilst playing football. My partner Rachel's grandson Oscar is also a patient with GOSH after being diagnosed with cancer at 4 years old and having treatment there for 2 years before ringing his bell earlier this year. We have been fundraising for GOSH for many years now and will continue to do so because of the amazing care and treatment they give there ♥️ every donation very much appreciated 🙏 thank you x
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
