Our Group/Family
Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
For the second time, we are taking part in the RBC Run to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). 💙💛
Six years ago our world was turned upside down when our son was diagnosed with OMS and neuroblastoma. During one of the most frightening times of our lives, the incredible team at GOSH gave him the care, hope and support he needed.
This April, we found ourselves relying on them once again when Timmy had to undergo major emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. Once again, they were there for us with exceptional care, kindness and compassion.
No parent ever wants to see their child go through so much, but we will never forget the doctors, nurses, and staff at GOSH who helped our little boy and supported our whole family through the darkest moments.
We can never truly repay everything they have done for us, but by taking part in the RBC Run, we hope to give something back so they can continue changing the lives of other children and families who need them.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it would mean the world to us. Every pound helps GOSH continue their life-saving work.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💙💛
RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
Please consider sponsoring me. Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.
