Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
I'm running the RBC Race for the Kids for my sister, Myriam. She had cancer as a child, and as her sibling I spent a lot of time in hospitals with her.
Everything I raise goes towards GOSH's brilliant new Children's Cancer Centre!
I've volunteered at GOSH for four years and it's a joy to be there: colour on the walls, play specialists, kids being kids, and staff who look after the whole family, siblings included.
The new Centre is the kind of place I'd have loved my sister to be treated in, and it's being built for the children who come next.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
