Thank you, GOSH

My family and I will forever be grateful to Great Ormond Street Hospital for the incredible care I have received since before I was even born.

I was diagnosed with a complex congenital heart condition and needed to have two major operations as a baby. 

I feel incredibly lucky to have been looked after by such an amazing team of cardiologists and nurses, and thanks to them, I have been able to grow up and live my life in ways that would not have been possible without their care. 

Now, as I prepare to enter adulthood, it’s time for me to leave GOSH’s care. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a position to take this next step, but it is also a very emotional time for me. GOSH has been such a huge part of my life and I feel a deep connection to the hospital and to the incredible people who have cared for me over the years.

I can never thank GOSH enough for everything they have done for me and my family.

That is why we are taking part in the GOSH fun run this year. It’s our way of marking the end of this very special chapter of my life and giving something back to the hospital that has given me so much.
