Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
On 29th March 2015 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, I was 6 years old.
I was looked after by the amazing team at Great Ormond Street lead by Consultant David O’Connor. On the 8th August 2018 after three years of chemotherapy treatment I was finally in remission and able to ring the end of treatment bell.
At the beginning of this year I was finally discharged from hospital and no longer require follow up appointments. I am fit, healthy and study A levels at school whilst planning a gap year in Australia- all thanks to GOSH!!
Funds raised will go towards building a children’s cancer centre in London. Please help me to raise as much as possible for this amazing charity.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
