I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids

Great Ormond Street Hospital holds a very special place in my heart. For the past 18 months, I have volunteered with the GOSH Weekend Club, spending time with some of the most remarkable children and families. Their courage, positivity and resilience inspire me every week.
That’s why I am proud to be taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids. I am fundraising to help ensure that GOSH can continue providing world-class care, support and opportunities to children when they need them most.
Having seen firsthand the difference the hospital makes, I know how important these services are. If you are able to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
