Why I'm taking part in RBC Race for the Kids
This year, my child and I are running so more children can have more playground days and fewer hospital stays.
We’re running because when a family’s world is turned upside down by childhood cancer, no one should have to face it alone. We’re running to stand with those families, to give what we can—our time, our energy, our love. Because we truly believe that when we move together, even our smallest steps can bring hope to families walking through the darkest days of their lives.
Great Ormond Street Hospital gives brave children and their families expert care and hope. The new Children’s Cancer Centre will provide even more children with the best treatment in a place designed for them, and every step we take helps bring it closer to reality.

RBC Race for the Kids 2026
GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.
We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.
