I'm joining the race to help beat childhood cancer

I’m taking part in Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity’s family festival and fun run, RBC Race for the Kids, to raise money to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

From 2K to 5K — we're back!

Last year, my son joined me for his very first RBC Race for the Kids at Hyde Park.

At just 8 years old, he took on the 2K family run — and much to my amazement, he completed the whole thing without stopping once. I couldn't have been prouder of him.

So naturally, this year we've decided to make things a little harder...

We're taking on the full 5K together! 🏃‍♂️🏃

I've completed the 5K before, but doing it alongside my son will make this one particularly special. It's a big step up from last year's distance, and we're looking forward to the challenge, the training and — hopefully — crossing that finish line together.

Most importantly, we're doing it to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, helping support seriously ill children and their families and the development of GOSH's new Children's Cancer Centre.

We've set ourselves a fundraising target of £300, and we'd be incredibly grateful for any support.

Whether it's £5, £10, £25 or simply sharing our page, every bit of support helps.

Thank you for backing us — now we'd better get training! ❤️
